The client

GCS Glass logo

GCS Glass designs and installs custom frameless shower doors, glass railings, wine cellars, and mirrors. Founded in Phoenix in 2013, it has since expanded across five states, with local teams in Phoenix, Denver, and Long Island.

The challenge

GCS runs Google Ads in Phoenix, Denver, and Long Island, and wanted a straight answer on how much closed revenue that spend produced.

Platform conversions and CRM tags could not answer that on their own, because they did not show which calls really came from an ad.

What we did

  • Ran Google Ads for each market.
  • Matched Google's record of each ad call to the same call in the CRM by timestamp, instead of trusting the tags.
  • Counted a lead only if it was a matched ad call of at least 60 seconds, a call to a named Google number, or an opportunity with paid click data.
  • Credited a job only if it was won in the window with a paid touch in the 180 days before.
  • Reported each market on its own, so budget decisions follow what each one actually closed.

The results

  • 996 leads over the six months
  • 83 closed jobs in Phoenix, the strongest of three markets
  • A return measured in closed jobs, not platform conversions
